- Hey there, I think the topic "Portals" is somewhat misleading and might either need a different name, or a different location. We currently have the Official Sites page to collect official links. We might end up creating redundant information this way. Further more, I think the "Kickstarter Campaign" link is now "obsolete", as it is no longer active and only nice to have to view into the past - what happened in the past during the funding process. The Discord server is another example I don't see as direct link there. It is already located on the Official Sites page - if we want it in the sidebar, it should join the other social media icons at the bottom, not up there. In conclusion, after removing those two points, I'd say the "Portals" header is somewhat "useless". I'd rather suggest that we add a link to the Official Sites to the quick access at the top (e.g. below "Random page") Herdo (talk) 13:36, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
- I agree with most of what you said above except the social media icons. They link to the Gamepedia Social Media accounts (And I believe either cannot be changed, or changing them is against regulations.), and therefore should not have additional links relating to Intrepid Social Media. So I would then propose removing Portals section entirely (Discord, Kickstarter, etc) and including only what you proposed- a link to the Offical Sites page, appearing underneath the "random page" link.
