Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse is a standalone prequel of the MMORPG Ashes of Creation. It is high fantasy, free-to-play, and last-main standing arena based game which will support a number of different game modes, including battle royale-style gameplay, castle sieges, and gigantic monster hordes. Players can team up with friends or play alone. Apocalypse is also being used to help test new tech and features for Ashes of Creation. Any rewards earned in Apocalypse will carry over to the MMO as well.

In Apocalypse, players land on Verra, a world on the brink of destruction. The only way out is to be the last one standing. It has a high fantasy setting, with a vast array of gear and spells and a massively destructible environment.
